Rush Filing
Some states have options for approving corporation and LLC formation filings in as little as 24 to 48-hours for an additional fee. In these states, BizFilings has a rush filing option, which you can add to any of our formation service packages, to reduce the formation time for your company.

Note: The timeframes noted are state approval timeframes. It often takes longer for the states to generate the filed documents and return them to BizFilings. Therefore, the timeframe from when you submit your order to BizFilings until you receive your state-approved formation documents from us will be longer.
Once BizFilings receives payment for your order, a preliminary name approval is obtained and your formation paperwork is submitted to the state. Your company will be officially formed within 24-48 hours following the name approval or consent (excluding weekends and holidays).
After the filing is complete and the stamped, filed documents are returned to us from the state, we ship them to you via FedEx Overnight delivery. Typically the filed documents are delivered to you within one week of the filing, and often receipt of the filed document will happen within just a few days of the filing.
Another factor that could affect the turn-around time for your company’s formation is the registered agent signature. Some states require a customer’s signature on the formation document when someone other than BizFilings serves as registered agent for the company being formed. In these cases, the filing timeframe of 24-48 hours begins after we have received the signed documents and received any prior approvals or consent.

Q. How soon will I receive my documents?
A. It is important to note that the 24 or 48 hour filing time is for the formation only. It typically takes longer for the states to produce the filed documents. Once BizFilings receives your documents from the state, we will ship them to you via FedEx Overnight delivery. This means you should have your documents in hand anywhere from just a few days to one week after filing.
Please note: some states require a client's signature on the formation documents when someone other than BizFilings is acting as registered agent. IN these cases, the filing timeframe of 24 to 48 hours begins after we have received the signed documents and received any applicable prior approvals or consent.
